The Trio Group headed by the Sapre family owns and operates one machine shop, two foundry units and two trading firms. Founded in 1969 by the group chairman it presently has three partners :Mr. Padmakar V. Sapre, Mr. Shirish V.Sapre and Mr. Ajay P. Sapre. The annual group turnover is currently more than 30 corers.

The two main foundry units namely

1. Yash Metallics Pvt Ltd.- Plant – 1

2. Yash Metallics Pvt Ltd.- Plant – 2

Situated at M.I.D.C., Shiroli, Kolhapur in state of Maharashtra, Plant 1 has a melting capacity of more than 300 MT per month while Plant ll has a melting capacity of more than 720 MT per month. In combination the above two plants have an annual turnover of USD 2.4 million. It commenced the commercial production of C.I. castings in 1995, while plant II started production in 2001.

The entire spectrum of product range covers components for heavy duty engines, automobiles and tractor applications to all almost all major models for Mahindra & Mahindra. Trio Enterprises is the machine shop for the Trio Group. In 1997, it achieved accreditations (ISO 9002) by TUV of Germany. It has an annual turn over of more than INR 3 corers.
